Property & Grounds
Knockendarroch Hotel sits on 1.5 acres of elevated grounds, 5 minutes' walk from Pitlochry town centre. The building is a stone-built Victorian property with original features that have been retained. Larch House Suite and Garden Rooms are located 30 metres to the south east of the main hotel, down approximately 30 steps, in a timber-constructed building built in 2017.
Rooms
The hotel has 18 individually styled rooms, each with an en suite bathroom and a TV. Many rooms offer views of Tummel Valley, Ben Vrackie, or the gardens. Room types include Classic Double Rooms, Balcony Rooms, Premier Rooms, Suites, and Double Rooms with Patio.
Dining & Lounge
The on-site restaurant has held two AA red rosettes since 2014 and offers a dinner menu that changes daily. The lounge has cosy log fires and a selection of malt whiskies, gins, and wines. Special diets can be catered, and packed lunches and early breakfasts are available on request.
Location & Activities
The hotel is less than a mile from Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Pitlochry Railway Station, and the Tummel River. The Scottish Highlands offer cycling, walking, fishing, and hunting; Edinburgh city centre is a 1 hour 25-minute drive away. Guests receive complimentary transport to the Festival Theatre.
